WHAT'S ON, WHAT'S NEXT

The Cross River Rail Experience Centre hosts FREE activities every weekend and every day during school holidays. On weekends there is no need to book – just call in to learn more about how Cross River Rail will transform the way we travel. During school holidays some activities require bookings.

Art in the city

Art is sprinkled across Brisbane from the suburbs to the city. Get inspired as you wander along Albert Street looking at the art created for the Brisbane Street Art Festival, then create your own masterpiece in the Experience Centre.

Let’s make origami

Brisbane is a city connected by bridges, as we have a variety of creeks and rivers that surround our suburbs. In this challenge, we need junior engineers to help us build a bridge to go over a railway with popsickle sticks, just like the Boggo Road pedestrian bridge.

Just like the Green Spine along Albert Street brings together nature and the city, come along and combine the endless possibilities of Lego with the beauty of nature, to create colourful floral bouquets.
